On this page you will find answers to commonly asked questions. If you don’t find the answer you are looking for, you might like to email us with your query.

How do your prices and quality compare with other dealers?
We source all of our carpets from the weavers themselves and select every carpet individually, ensuring the finest possible quality. Our ability to purchase at origin ensures the best possible price for all our customers.

Tribal Collections is located in Goreme, Central Anatolia so we have no costly overheads, import duties or additional taxes, thus making our prices much cheaper than other overseas dealers. We operate on a fixed price policy so you recieve a fair and honest price upfront!

Will I recieve a Certificate of Authenticity?
Yes. We will send you a detailed 'Certificate of Authenticity' when you purchase your rug, which you will also be able to use for insurance purposes. Plus we include an additional 'personalised information sheet' which details more about the history, weaving techniques and care and cleaning of your rug.

How do I arrange payment for my purchases?
The most secure method is to send us an International Bank Transfer - when we recieve your order form we will email you with our company banking details and freight charges. Payment can be made in USD, Euro or Pound Sterling.

Can I talk personally with Ruth and Faruk?
Of course, yes. You can call either Ruth or Faruk to discuss your purchase Tel: +90 384 271 2400 or Mobile(Faruk): +90 532 486 1419. Please take into consideration the time zone. Turkey's time zone is GMT + 2.00.

How will I receive my carpets?
We will despatch your carpet by the industry's leading cargo companies UPS, or TNT to anywhere in the world. All your carpets will be fully insured for the full amount you have paid.

When will I recieve my carpet?
Where possible we despatch your carpet immediately and you should recieve it to your door within 10 days of the despatch date. We email you with the Waybill / Tracking Number and you will be able to follow the progress of your rug via the cargo company's website. All internal museum and Turkish custom controls will be processed prior to despatch. If you are resident in Europe you may receive your carpet in less than one week.

Will I pay Turkish custom duties and tax?
No. The price includes all Turkish taxes and fees, except shipping. You will pay only the carpet's price and shipping costs. As all countries vary the purchaser will be required to pay any taxes or duties in their own countries.

Will I pay for shipping?
Yes. Shipping is an extra cost and is not included in the rug prices. The cost for shipping will be calculated according to the weight of your package and we will confirm the shipping price before posting your package.
